Manatapu are not relatively new on the scene, they were the winner of the Hard Rock battle of the bands a few years back and have played at various major events such as Earth Garden, The Bubble, Zion and the Sliema Art Festival.
Recently they have released their first track ‘Mur Imma Mur’ from their album ‘Tuatara’ which is set to be officially released on the 25th May at Fra Ben Qawra from 5pm onwards.
Manatapu have a fresh sound which reminds me of a mash up between The Travellers and Relikc should there ever have been one.
