My dad literally brainwashed me into loving The Beatles, he says he used to sing to me ‘Golden Slumber’ to get me to go to sleep when I was a baby. I can clearly remember myself singing along to every single song my dad used to play at any of his gigs. My brother is actually named Maclenn (Mac- for McCartney and Lenn- for Lennon) so you get my drift. I can’t complain though really, as thanks to my dad I got to grow up with some amazing music and it was a magical experience witnessing McCartney live in concert in London a few years back with him.
Anyway…let’s get to the point of this post. Michela Agius- a fresh new face to the music scene. Her voice is so soothing and she could not have chosen a better song to cover…’Something’ is actually one of the underrated songs of The Beatles I think. Joining Michela on piano is a not so new face now…Aleandro Spiteri Monsigneur- Red Electrick’s prodigy keyboard player/pianist, this guy is so young -which is one of the reasons why you can appreciate his talent even more – and such a good musician
Check the video out if you haven’t already and keep an eye and ear out for Michela as I am sure we will be hearing more from her- some original material now hopefully next.
