The Travellers -who need absolutely no introduction- will be headlining a summer concert organised by the Xaghra United Football Club, in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo on the 31st of August from 21:00 onwards.

Calypsoed will celebrate Gozitan heritage and history, local music, as well as Xaghra’s football club which has been promoted to the Gozo Football League’s First Division for the upcoming season.

The concert will take place in the stunning Calypso area of Xaghra, and will feature a host of leading local talents, including upcoming Gozitan talent Grove Street, one of Malta’s top DJs, Pierre Cordina, as well as The Travellers as headliners.

Produced by MedDad Live, and supported by kind sponsorship and countless volunteers, Calypsoed is set to be the concert of the season. Make sure to head down early as no tickets will be available to purchase beforehand as entrance is at a donation which will go towards the Xaghra United Football Club.

So make sure to put on your comfiest shoes, dance the night away and enjoy a night of great music and a performance from The Travellers which will surely make it a night to remember.

And psst… a hint to those trying to impress on a first date…you’ll surely earn points with a date like this one 😉
